15 Funny Vanity Plate Ideas—Get Your Creative License Going
You're allowed to create personalized license plates for your car. Maybe you shouldn't be.
Have you ever wanted to deck out your car with a personalized license plate, but didn't know where to start? Every state gives you license to make vanity plates—within reason, there's typically a review process to ensure really nasty stuff isn't printed onto metal rectangles for public display—and often it doesn't cost much more than a regular, randomized-character plate. To help you get your creative juices flowing, here are a few funny ideas of our own (we got a little carried away and designed our own Car and Driver plates, too—don't try that yourself, you'll be subject to your state's designs).
